Haah! Cute! I luff the little sandals.

What's with parrots and alcohol, anyway? I have a shirt with a macaw dressed in clashing mismatched 'clothes' holding a martini on it that I got in Florida back in 7th grade, and two days ago I saw another shirt along similar lines, and I figure it just can't be a coincidence. Do parrots have some kind of hithertome unknown penchant for getting drunk, or is it just something that was independantly inspired by random inherent funniness on multiple different occasions? D:
